It's a beautiful floating homes fall...

News & Highlights
Yes, we’re featured! Did you catch our community feature in the Seattle Times last weekend? We were thrilled to have a front-page spread in Sunday's Pacific NW Magazine. If you missed it, you can read the full story here.
Dock Leadership Meeting:
Dock leaders, mark your calendars for December 1st at 6:00 PM. We’ll be coming together to share insights and experiences on two important topics:
DNR Lease Renewals: Navigating JARPA applications and discussing recent conversations with DNR land managers.
WUCIOA: Understanding the revised Washington State law for cooperatives and discussing recent conversations with your legal advisors.
Please bring along the leads on your dock who are heading up these initiatives. Detailed information will be emailed to you.
Seattle has a connection problem
On our docks, connection is part of daily life. We borrow tools, watch each other’s homes, and show up when someone needs a hand. It's built into our history and culture. But Seattle as a whole doesn’t share that full experience, and a new study shows how far the gap runs. And it’s pretty bad. Here’s the link to how we can help.
Improving Your FHA Experience: System Upgrades Ahead
Over the next few months, we are upgrading our financial systems to better serve you. We are consolidating our older, fragmented systems into a single modern platform, which will be easier for our volunteers to manage and will offer you new self-serve options to update your information. Please bear with us through any temporary bumps during this transition, particularly around the new year. Thank you for your patience as we make these much-needed improvements! Questions?
